How the sandbox identity is evaluated
Fractured Online is included because its profile points toward a persistent-world MMO with crafting and player-driven systems. Those features are more relevant to a sandbox classification than simply having an open world: the question is whether players can meaningfully shape their progression and interactions through systems outside a fixed content path.
The current database entry deliberately leaves several factual fields marked “Not documented” rather than filling them with assumptions. That distinction matters for a database covering games whose development history and current availability can change.
What to look for
- How much of progression is self-directed versus structured around conventional content.
- Whether crafting produces meaningful player-to-player economic activity.
- How persistent the world and player-created relationships are.
- What PvP and territorial systems are actually available in the current build.
Database note
This profile should be read alongside the site's methodology. When a current source cannot be verified, the database uses an explicit unknown rather than presenting an old or inferred detail as fact.
